The newly launched pet-friendly product is salmon flavored. Some customers report that it helps their pets suffering from conditions such as cancer, arthritis, anxiety, and inflammation. The hemp-based product is manufactured in small batches to ensure quality.

It is 100% organic and sustainably sourced hemp, certified pharmaceutical grade. It is non-GMO, there are no pesticides, herbicides, solvents, or chemical fertilizers, which makes it suitable for animals.

Many pet owners give their pets full spectrum hemp oil to help with balance and pain management. Some of their customers also just put several drops of their own full spectrum drops in their pets food instead of buying the “pet branded” product. Pure Midwest points this out as a way that consumers can save money from buying a “pet specific” product when it is really the same thing.

Joint pain is an issue for many dogs, particularly as they get older. Symptoms of pain include slow or reduced movement, a lack of appetite and a less excitable attitude. CBD and hemp oil target the part of the brain that copes with chronic pain, which can help to relax the body.

It can potentially also be a useful tool when treating anxiety in pets as it can calm them. Many pets feel anxious during thunderstorms, long car journeys, or when they are left alone. Anxiety can lead to stress, which can in turn cause bad behavior such as chewing, whimpering, and aggression.

A company spokesperson said: “Pets are not simply animals – to many people, they are an extension of themselves, their family, and they have their own individual personality.”

“When pets are in pain, it can be distressing for their owners as much as it is for them. That is why we’ve launched a pet-friendly hemp-based oil. It hopefully will help with ailments, pain management, anxiety issues and more, and since the FDA hasn’t fully regulated hemp oil, we’ve created the empty bottle guarantee. So if it doesn’t work for you or your pet, we don’t think you should have to pay.” they added.
